Dub Music Caprice Radio

Some music doesn't need much explaining, you just press play and it works. That's pretty much how we feel about dub, so this Radio Caprice stream is built around that sound. Deep bass, echo, instrumental reggae, old Jamaican cuts and newer recordings all sit together here. We add music when we find something that really fits, not just to make the playlist longer.

A lot of people discover dub through reggae, but it quickly became something of its own. Producers started taking songs apart, leaving space, adding echo and turning the mixing desk into an instrument. That approach ended up influencing hip-hop, drum and bass, trip-hop, dub techno and plenty more. We enjoy that whole journey, so this stream follows it from the early classics to later releases.
